Newborn Essential List - Rev00

The idea is, as a first time mom I am overwhelmed with all the baby product. Lets face it. Money is problem. We could not possibly buy everything all at once. I have dedicated myself to watch a buttload amount of Newborn Essential video on Youtube. Be it a Minimalist Newborn Essential, Extra Newborn Essential. I get it the term essential itself varies from person to person.

What I discovered from my own essential list is that it change. A lot. This week it may become like the top 10 I must have in order to prepare myself but the time next week, meh I can make do without it.
So here is the idea. Today 17 August 2019, I will capture my essential list here and I will be back once my baby is at 3 month old (insyAllah) to update what is the essential that I really use and what is not. I hope it was helpful enough for other new mom out there and for my reference in the future too (insyAllah!)

To make things easier, I use babylist registry. The company was based in USA. If you readers are form USA, you might be able to receive a free sample box upon registering. What is the fun thing about this registry? Well. you can add baby item from other site. I dont use this registry as a registry per se. I just use it as a place to capture all the stuff that I think is essential for my baby.

Most of the item are from Motherhood.com.my, Lazada, Shopee and TCE baby Expo. Recently I paid a visit to TCE Baby Expo and Motherhood baby sale. I will share my experience, tips and trick in separate post. Writing the list, I notice some changes, but its okay. I'll keep this list updated. Just pay attention to the Revision number at the title.

By the way the bedding set are not included in the list because everything will be handmade by my mother. Same goes to the postpartum care. My mother is a Bidan Kampong in Melaka. Pengalaman Pemeriksaan Kandungan di Klinik Ibu dan Anak Seri Kembangan

So you found out you are with child. What now? I dont know what to do too once the stick turn blue. I just wait around 10 weeks, then I called up Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Selangor (JKNS) at 03 5123 7333 for the next instruction I guess and what to do next. Obviously once we found out we are pregnant the advise from parents and friends start pouring in. Some says go to your first check up at 10 weeks, some said 12 weeks. How would you know for sure? And if you are going to go through government clinic, which one you should go? I have all these question in my head. So I called JKNS up. They were so helpful. The lady look up my home address up and said that I should go to Klinik Kesihatan Ibu dan Anak Seri Kembangan. I argued that my home is closer to Putrajaya than the suggested KK. And patiently she explain to me that my address are covered by Seri Kembangan Clinic. And I should go in when I'm at 10 weeks along in my pregnancies. No need to bring your own pregnancy test whatsover. B

Parentcraft Workshop by M&B Medical Marketing Review

I've been looking for a parental-ish workshop around Klang Valley that suit our working schedule. Both of us works in construction industry. We do work full day on Saturday and sometimes Sunday too. Thank goodness I found the Parentcraft Workshop by Medical Marketing Review. This is their 10th session. I found out about their workshop through Mums Club Instagram the day of their 9.0 workshop. I just literally contact the contact number on the banner asking when is the next event and please conduct the workshop on Sunday. We had a good laugh. Fast forward on 21/8/2019, the minute they posted this banner I am jumping inside and register on the spot. Yeah and I got the 20% off. 4 days before the workshop, I received 2 email from the organizer. 1 of them is the QR code or the ticket for the workshop and another email is the venue information and the agenda. About the workshop. The venue Easy to reach, parking was a breeze, and easy to find the hall. The food Plenty.
